You don’t always need heat when creating a sleek look. @farah_nieuwburg has super thick afro hair, but we ditched the blowdryer and straighteners and layered in a strong edge gel with a dense brush to create this look. There are LOTS of reasons why you might not use heat on your model/clients hair, so it’s important to equip yourself with the understanding of how to do it, and the knowledge that it is possible.
